Clifton Casha

Clifton Casha, born at St Luke’s Hospital at Pietà on 26 August, 1985 grew up and lives at Ħal-Qormi, Malta born on 26 August, 1985. He is a Maltese author specializing in local and International songs.

From a young age he has studied poetry and how to create different pieces of art. He has penned various lyrics for competitions such as Għanja tal-Poplu, Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza and Eurovision Song Contest with various local composers and artists.

As he’s a teacher of Italian in a local Maltese school, he has also written lyrics for Pantos and School Celebrations. His latest work was the operetta Bejn l-Għabex u ż-Żerniq in which he has written the lyrics of the songs and the music was composed by Maestro Ray Sciberras.

The songs produced by Sciberras and Casha were later on performed by the Armed Forces of Malta at the Presidential Palace in Valletta.

In 2014, although quite new to the local music scene, Clifton managed to write some songs for KKI Junior -2014 and five of them made it to the final.

He is motivated to continue working with new people in this fascinating line of work and his dream is to become a well-known lyricist and to deliver lyrics which will continuously inspire people around the globe.
