After the success of of the First Edition of the ''The Entertainers Singing Challenge 2015'' 
Spiteri Lucas Entertainment, today in the first edition of the Saturday night variety show on [[Net TV]], ''The Entertainers'' - ''The Entertainers Singing Challenge 2016'' 

After promotion made and application and rules was out for talent local singers. 

There were 84 singers who applied, and were choseing by a panel of five Jury:-

*[[Michela Galea]] 

==Passed for The Semi-Final==
On Saturday 1 October was annouced the 55 prtecipants for the Semi-Final of ''The Entertainers Singing Challenge'':

This year the competition was dived in two sections A and B and the sectiosn was dived also in groups, two in Section ''A'' and three in Section ‘ B’. Section ‘A’ was for singers between 9 to 12 years, while Section B was for singers between 13 to 16 years.

==Passed for the Second Phase==
On Saturday 14 January, 2016 in The Entertainers Programm was annouced the name of the singers who made it to the second phase for the Festival. From category A pass 12 singers from category B orginaly 16 singers could passed, but in the sixteen place their was a tie with three singers, The Organazers decideced u passed 18 singers in category B,so in total 30 singers from 55 made it to the second phase and they are marked with an X up in this page.

The Second Phase of this Festival will continue on the 11 Febuary, 2017.

In this second phase the televiewers must vote for their favorite singers with an sms 50614997. The televoting itself got  a separate prize, and not will be counting for the final result. The televoting votes must add with the votes u the first phase.

All the singers must be judge with a differenti jury of the first phase. All the singers got a choice to participate with the same song of the phase or sang a new song.

After  several weeks the televiewers had the  chance to closely follow 30 singers,  semi finalists who passed from among 55 participants in the first phase. Next to 14 singers between 9 and 16 years, divided into 2 categories according to their age, accompanied by the resident band of the program under the direction of Mro. Mark Spiteri Lucas, and on Saturday 29 April, 2017 will participate in the final will be aired during a special program dedicated to entertainers The Singing Challenge.

The phases were judged by a professional jury which had over  100% of the vote.

==The Jury==
The jury members were singers [[Karen Debattista]] and [[Lyndsay Pace]], the singer songwriter [[Vince Fabri]] and musician [[Reno Cassar]].

==The Finalist==

These are the names of all the singers who managed to pass the final alphabetical order.

Category A: Martina Abela, Albert Lauren Agius, Nathaniel Attard, Kelsie Borg, Kira Copperstone and Kiana Fenech.

Category B: Thea Aquilina, Gail Attard, Haley Azzopardi, Forbidden, Rachel Lowell, Kylie Meilak, Michela Pace and Justine Shorfid. 

These same sixteen finalists will then be committed as a showroom their talent without competition when on 17 June, 2017 in the last programm of the series The Entertainers, and will sing in duets with established local singers.
