			After the 12 finalists at Malta Junior Eurovision performed their original song in front of the jury on 12 September, the songs should also be given the verdict of the public through SMS voting which opened on Saturday 19 September during the broadcast on TVM and closed on Saturday 26 September.

			The jury vote and the public vote were combined with an equal percentage (50% each) to determine the official result.

			On 1st October, 2020 was annouced the winner of the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020

			The winning singer will be representing Malta, in this year’s Junior Eurovision which will be held on November 29 from Warsaw, Poland. This year's version will be slightly different as participants will be participating from home due to the Covid-19 move situation.
