The album was recorded between 10 January and 25 August 2008 at [[Lito's Place]] in Floriana; recording, editing and mixing by [[Manolito Galea]]. Mastering by [[Daniel Talma]].

It was released on [[Heritage Records]] as CD006 on Tuesday 23 June 2009. At the official launch, Doreen Galea said that this was a particularly hard album to record because her own mother passed away while it was being recorded.<ref> Cassar, Josanne.
