In 2007, [[Mikiel Cutajar Is-Superstar]] sung a ballad in honour of Seychell, on the occasion of the centenary of his birth in Żejtun. This is considered as one of Cutajar's foremost rendition of a ballad, due to his heartfelt performance about a most revered folksinger from his hometown.
