Denise Mintoff

Denise Mintoff maiden Cutajar born on 15 January, 1966. at Sliema and grewe up in Birkirkara. She is an Actress and Radio and Televison presenter.

She get some drama courses and work some part in plays held by M.A.S.K, but she played her first main role at the Manoel Theatre at the age of 18 in Francis Ebejer's Is-Sejħa ta' Sarid. She taken part also in the M.A.D.C one act playes and in 1985 she won a prize as Most promising performance.

She later took part in various productions, ranging from pantomimes to shakespearean plays. Her shakespearean roles include, Hermia, in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Jessica, in The Merchant of Venice. She also played the main role in various plays which include, Antigone (1989), Look back in Anger ( 1991) and Divorcons (1993), and secondary roles in other plays like, Hotel Paradiso, Don't Dress for Dinner and Hekuba, to name a few.

In 1989 Denise also was one of the four presenters with Angela Agius, John Demanuele and Patrick Vella of the Malta Song For Europe, 1989.

In 1987 she took part in the popular tv series Aħna aħna jew maħniex and some years later in the tv drama series, Triq Waħda and later, the sitcom series, Miskin Mike.

In 1995 she was the protagonist in Mike Spiteri's video of the song for the Eurovision Song Contest 1995, Keep me in Mind. She was an anchorperson on net tv when the station started transmitting in full force in 1998 and worked as a newscaster till 2004.

After that, she presented a programme which focused on health issues on the public station for the next 5 years and then went on to being and still is to date, Denise presenting an interesting radio program with Charles Coleiro Kull Ġebla minquxa fl-istorja on Radio Malta, besides that, she is one of the presenters of a cultural / journalistic programme Malta u lil hinn Minnha also aired on the national station on Sunday morning producer by Cittadel Media.
