Joseph Mizzi graduated in journalism from the University of Malta in 1987 and followed a graphic design course at the School of Arts. He worked at the Department of Information before setting up his own company, Mizzi Design and Graphic Services.
In 1996 he took over the management of Midsea Books and Klabb Kotba Maltin.
He was also appointed chairman of PBS after Claire Thake Vassallo
