Clean-up Needed

The text currently on this page needs further work. It was most likely imported or reproduced from a website associated with the subject of the page - possibly through a process involving far-from-perfect machine translation, often with awkward results. It is awaiting the attention of an experienced M3P editor, which could be you. It may be slightly out of date, or may need other elements taken care of appropriately, including proofreading or copy-editing for grammar and style.

Yazmin Helledie born on 13 May, 1995. She is a singer.

Yazmin has been singing for as long as she can remember, however she started taking singing lessons when she was 6 years old.

Having a dad who is a musician helped her grow up in the music scene. She wrote and composed her first song at the age of 8.

She took part with it in the Maltese selection for the Junior Eurovision in 2004 and took part an additional 3 times after that. She has been singing and writing songs ever since.

At the age of 13 she was chosen to be a solo singer during the VOICES 2008 concert and in 2012 she was invited to sing in Denmark during the opening of one of cycling’s grand tours, Giro d’Italia.

In the past few years Yazmin has collaborated with several producers by writing lyrics and performing vocals on tracks which were later released on local radio stations and online. She has performed during several other events in Malta and also abroad. Currently, Yazmin gigs part-time whilst finishing her Speech Therapy studies at the University of Malta.
