The Malta Music Awards is an (almost) annual ceremony celebrating the most popular artists in the Malta music scene.

The first Malta Music Awards was organized in 1995. Although it took a few years to establish itself as an annual event the ceremony has grown in popularity and is now considered as the premier national Music Awards show in Malta.

The awards was not organized regularly. There was no activity or ceremony during the following years: 2000, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.

In 2020, the ceremony marked the award's 25th anniversary.

The Malta Music Awards are produced by concert and music event organizers Mega Music Malta. From 2020 the organisation was taken over by Magic Malta.
