Nicole Falzon

Nicole Falzon born on 23 June, 2001 and lives at Ħal-Qormi. She is a Singer.

At an early age of 5 years she began singing lessons at Marvic Lewis and at the age of 6 she began to attend vocal training at The Voice Academy Malta under the direction of Ivan Degabriele.

At the age of 9 she began to attend piano lessons under Profs. Charles Zammit and currently under Anna Maria Cassar.

She partaciapted in various local festivals where she gained alot of confidence and she was a winner several times. In 2012 was her first experience in a foreign festival in Romania. She took park in an interational festival called “Volare” where she was a winner in her category with the original song “Viaggia” – penned by Christopher Azzopardi and composed by ‘Minik’ Dominic Cini. She likes to sing both in Maltese, English and Italian as well.

Nicole forms part of a local folklore group called Il-Qamħa, where they give shows to tourists and locals around Malta. They wear traditional Maltese clothes and sing live songs accampanied by musicians playing traditional instruments.

Musicals are her top favorite because she can combine her talents in drama and singing together. Currently she is attending Musical Theathre Course which leads to a diploma at Centre Stage under the direction of Tiziana Calleja. Recently she had main parts in the popular musicals ‘Carmen’, ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘Annie’ and ‘Lion King’. On several occassions Nicole is invited to sing with local band clubs and live bands.

In November 2014, Nicole attended a professional master class in London at the BIMM College of Music. Her vocal coach in this masterclass was David Laudat, a popular international singer and producer. He was also a vocal judge in X-Factor. Here she had the opportunity to record a song with a “live” English band.

In April 2015, she was called by an Italian composer, Andrea Coluzzi, to record an original dance song called “The Dream of Music”. Nicole went personally to Rome to record this song, which song was chosen by producers to form part in a popular Italian compilation called “Hit Mania 2015 – Ibiza Experience”. The same song is being sold as a single through out Europe and South America. She participated in the local festival KKI - Junior 2014 and KKI - Junior 2015. In 2014 with the song ‘Kull Ma Xtaqt’. In 2015, she placed second with the song ‘Ngħix Ħolma’ in the same festival.

On 19 September, 2017 Nicole taken part in Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2017 (Talent Ġdid) with the song ‘Bħal Fjura’ lyrics by Emil Calleja Bayliss and music by Mark Spiteri Lucas. She was shortlisted together with other two songs by televoting and win this category and get the right to sing and compited with the 20 finalist of Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2017 and win this edition festival with this song ‘Bħal Fjura’ and made double victory.

On Thursday 26 August, 2021, made it to the final of Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2021 Nicole Falzon performed the song Ġidba Għall-Bżonn lyrics by Emil Calleja Bayliss and music by Georgea Falzon. On the final night held on 18 September, 2021, at she performed the song Ġidba Għall-Bżonn lyrics by Emil Calleja Bayliss and music by Georgea Falzon.

Nicole’s dream is to continue her studies both in music and voice in a foreign college.
