Roger Tirazona (born 3 November 1979) is a Maltese singer involved in music and performing arts since the age of 9. He trained at the Johann Strauss School of Music in voice and piano. His childhood performances include Maltese musicals “Bastilja”, “Taħt Tliet Saltniet” and “Ali Baba” in the Iljieli Mediterranji Productions. With a developing Baritone timbre, Roger decided to take his singing to a different level where his performances involved musicals, concerts and music festival. Roger trained in a classical Vaccai Belcanto style which he has added with his previous Pop-style of music giving a contemporary crossover style of singing to his repertoire. He is fond of musical theatre, works from the classical age, pop-classical crossover and Russian traditional songs and romances.

Roger’s credits include Javert in 'Les Miserables in Concert', Adam in 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers', Horton in 'Seussical – The Musical', Chauvelin in ‘The Scarlet Pimpernel’, Pilate in ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, Lazar Wolf and Tevye in ‘Fiddler on The Roof’, Molokov and The Russian in ‘Chess’, Craven in ‘The Secret Garden’, Professor Callahan in ‘Legally Blonde' and Sebastian in Sebastian in October 2006. Roger also performed in numerous musical theatre concerts in Malta and in Russia. Roger was also the vocal coach of '13-The Musical', the Andrew Lloyd Webber tribute concert 'Simply Webber' and was also musical director and vocal coach for 'R&J The Musical' in which he also arranged the mash up music of the entire show.

Roger has also performed and won different awards in song contests in Malta and internationally. He won the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2004 and placed 3rd and 2nd in the Malta Song For Europe as part of the pop-classical vocal group Trilogy. In a duet with Eleanor Spiteri, Roger won first prize in the Discovery International Pop Music Festival in 2006 and the best performer award in the New Asian Singer Contest in Beijing in 2010. Roger was also awarded a performer’s award in Naples Italy in 2010. Trilogy was also further opportunity for international concerts which included concerts in Italy and in Tunisia. Solo concerts given by Roger included venues in Malta, Russia, Italy, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Lithuania. Roger’s singing versatility has also attracted attention when he was invited to perform in the CIOFF International folk Music Festival in Veliko Turnovo in Bulgaria.

Roger is not only a performing artist and singer, but also a composer and arranger. He composed theme music for 'Lietuvos Garbe' (Honour of Lithuania), a national television show filmed in the presence of the Lithuanian President. Tirazona also arranged the music of the winning song of the Lithuanian national music competition called 'Vilniaus Bokstai'. Both required Roger to cooperate with some of Lithuania’s best musical talent. He also collaborated with singer Nadia Vella on the release of her new single called “Forbidden Love”, available on iTunes.

In the Festival Internazzjonali tal-Kanzunetta Maltija 2013, Roger won the Organising Committee Francis Ebejer Award with his song Inti Mill-Ġdid.
