Huwa kien involut fil-politika, fit-trejdjunjoniżmu u fil-qasam soċjali. Victor Cauchi kien tenur imfittex ħafna speċjalment mill-korijiet u l-baned Maltin.

Cauchi kien involut fil-Kumitat tal-Partit Laburista ta’ Ħaż-Żabbar u apparti President tas-Soċjeta Filarmonika Maria Mater Gratiae, fejn beda bħala Deputat bejn l-1961 u 1962 u wara saret President f’1957 u serva sa 1959, kien ukoll President tal-Għaqda Madonna tal-Grazzja Banda San Mikiel Żabbar bejn l-1935 u 1946 u wara reġa serva għal perjodu qasir bejn 1946 u 1947. Serva wkoll fil-klabb tal-futbol St. Patrick’s F.C. ta’ Ħaż-Żabbar.

Victor Cauchi miet Ħaż-Żabbar fis-17 ta’ Diċembru 1974 u f’dil-lokalità ssemmiet triq għalih fiż-żona ta’ St. Peter’s.
