Dana's music debut was at the University of Malta's Singer/Songwriter Showcase back in December, 2008, when she took the stage with an acoustic guitar in hand and won the competition with her original song: Voice In My Head. This event kick-started her foray into the local & international music scene, where she's been making waves with her innovative beatboxing, singing & songwriting. She's developed into a solo artist and also performs with her skillful band-mates at local festivals.

Dana has also performed in the UK, Finland and Sweden (where she crossed paths with Bruno Mars), and put Malta on the International Beatbox Map at the Beatbox Battle Convention Days 2010 in Berlin, Germany. It was here that she got to jam with many influential beatbox artists from around the world and set her sights on the 2012 Beatbox Battle World Championships.
